Your day will start by meeting our knowledgeable guide for a beautiful 2 hour tour on foot of the Arlington National Cemetery, the final resting place for many of our nation's greatest heroes. While walking the grounds, you will see the Changing of the Guard, Tomb of the Unknowns and Kennedy Gravesite as well as hear about the dramatic origins and extensive history of this national treasure. From there, you and your guide will be picked up in our climate-controlled bus to continue your city tour of the most important monuments and memorials listed below, while seeing and learning about other points of interest as your guide narrates along the way. At each stop, your guide will accompany you on foot to get an informative, insider's view and great photos of each special place, before conveniently boarding the bus again to the next ones. Your day also includes hard-to-get tickets to the newly-renovated and reopened Washington Monument with its incomparable views of the National Mall and beyond.
