Walking Tour
Tour will include: Photo opportunity of the East and West plaza of the U.S. Capitol Building, where Presidents Past and Present are innagurated : Including President Garfield Statue, Grant Plaza to see the largest equestrian statue in America, Library of Congress (Exterior View Only,) where you will learn about the Gutenberg Bible why the library has President Lincoln’s silk lined leather wallet, as well as the beautiful Architecture of the Library of Congress. U.S. Supreme Court Building (Exterior View Only.) to learn about our nations highest court and the justices who e help shape its legacy. Tour inside of the U.S. Capitol Building: Visitors will see a minimum of three rooms which may include: (Crypt, Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, Old Supreme Court Chamber, and Old Senate Chamber.) Come see where President Kennedy, Carter, Bush and others have “Lain in State”, see a real Gold Copy of the 1215 Magna Carta, and tour the space where we come to celebrate as a nation. Learn about the Gutenberg Bible and the home of President Lincoln’s silk lined leather wallet, as well as the beautiful Architecture of the Library of Congress.
Bus Tour
Explore the famous landmarks and monuments of Washington DC on this guided 6-hour walking and riding sightseeing tour. Hop aboard a deluxe motor coach and enjoy an educational and entertaining narrated history of the nation’s capital. Stop at the White House and the United States Capitol, plus the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and much more. The full-day tour features more than 30 sites with stops to at least 12 sites. It’s a great way to see many of DC’s popular attractions.
Please Note: On Mondays, the Library of Congress is not included in the tour as it’s closed. The tour on Mondays will include a survey of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress from outside, before touring inside of the U.S. Capitol’s Visitor’s Center Museum. Tour will also include visiting three historic rooms of the U.S. Capitol building, such as the Crypt, Rotunda and Statuary Hall. The tour experience will last approximately one hour and forty minutes to two hours
